Why Laylas light ?
During my meditation, I was asked to embody my higher self name. It is a spiritual concept that your higher self is a higher version of your existing soul blue print. A soul upgrade to put it simply.
Since I didn’t know how to do it, I just put out a prayer. Let me know the name when I see it.
A couple of weeks after that, I pulled out an oracle card from the Rumi Love Card deck at my friends place.
‘Layla’ was the card that popped out of the deck.
I knew that my prayers have been answered as the word Layla resonated deeply within my soul.
Here is what I found on Wikipedia (don’t judge me on the source loll)
“Layla (Persian: لیلا, Arabic: ليلى, Hebrew: לילה) is a feminine given name in the Semitic (Arabic, Hebrew) and Persian languages.
Etymologically the word comes from proto-semitic layl-, which gives לֵילְיָא (lēləyā) in Aramaic, לילה (layla) in Hebrew, لَيْل (layl) or لَيْلَة(layla) in Arabic, and ܠܹܠܝܵܐ (lēlyā) in Syriac.
In Hebrew and Arabic the word Leila or Laila means "night", "dark"and the name is often given to girls born during the night, signifying "daughter of the night”
After I read the meaning of Layla, I had a nudge to typed in the word ‘light’
It is simply because light can only come out of darkness.
I took the leap and renamed my social media art brand to ‘Laylas light’.
It was perfect as my artwork is purely meant to help shed light codes to the world.
It is my mission.
